Marketing accountability for the AI era
The AI runs the campaign. We are accountable for what it produces.
Google and Meta will spend your budget efficiently against whatever you told them. Nobody at either company is answerable for whether that was the right instruction. We are — on one agreed number, written down before we start.
We fetch your page and check it live. Takes a few seconds, and no email is needed to see the result.
- Whether search engines and AI crawlers can index the page
- Title, meta, headings, canonical and mobile setup
- Core Web Vitals from real Chrome user data
- Whether contacting you takes one tap or three

The shift nobody warned you about
The platforms will run the campaign. Someone still has to be right about it.
The platforms will happily spend your budget. What they will not do is tell you whether it was the right budget, on the right offer, aimed at the right people — or own the answer when it wasn't.
Interpret — Read what actually happened
Before anything else, we establish whether your numbers are real. Broken conversion tracking, double-counted events and self-reported platform attribution mean most businesses are optimising…
Steer — Decide what changes
Automation is very good at optimising within the boundaries you set and completely indifferent to whether the boundaries are right. Steering is choosing the offer, the audience, the objectiv…
Own it — Answer for the outcome
We agree what the programme is accountable for before it starts, and we report against that rather than against whatever looked good this month. When we get it wrong we say so early, with wh…
Three ways in
Pick the relationship, not the channel
Every engagement is quoted on scope and the outcome it is accountable for. None of them bill by the hour, and none of them lock you in.
We run it and we own the result

What we put in writing
Accountability you can point at in month four
Every agency says it's accountable. Here is the version specific enough to fail.
- One agreed outcome per engagement, written down before we start.
- Measurement verified before we report a number on it — including numbers that flatter us.
- Every report opens with that outcome, not with a list of tasks completed.
- Misses raised by us, in the month they happen.
- We say no to work we don't think will pay for itself.
- You own every account, asset and piece of content from day one.

Questions people ask before they call
What does Digital Burst actually do?
We run, steer or teach digital marketing programmes for Australian businesses — search, paid media, AI optimisation and web. The common thread is that someone here is accountable for a named outcome, rather than for a list of tasks completed.
What does 'accountable' mean in practice?
We agree in writing what the engagement is answerable for before it starts — usually qualified enquiries, cost per acquisition or share of AI answers. Every report opens with that number. When we miss it we say so early, with what we are changing. See our accountability page for the full commitment.
Can't the platforms do this themselves now?
They do the execution, and they do it well. What they will not do is choose the objective, judge whether your conversion signal is measuring anything real, decide the offer is the problem rather than the targeting, or tell you when to stop. Those decisions determine whether the spend works.
How much does it cost?
We quote per engagement, on scope and the outcome we are accountable for, never on hours logged and never as a percentage of your ad spend. You get a firm number after one scoping conversation.
Are you actually based in Australia?
Yes. The account team is in Chatswood, Sydney, and every client has a named person they can call. Some production work is supported offshore and we will tell you plainly which parts.
What if we want to bring work in-house?
Then we would rather train you than lose you. That is what Enablement exists for. Clients who build capability tend to get more ambitious, not less.
What happens on the first call?
Fifteen minutes. What you sell, what a customer is worth, what you have tried. Then we tell you what we would do, what we would be accountable for, and roughly what it costs. If we do not think we can help, we say so.
