Advisory · We interpret and steer, you execute
Advisory
Short answer
Advisory is for businesses that already have people doing the work — in-house, freelance or another agency — and need someone independent reading the numbers and deciding the direction. We do not execute. We interpret, we steer, and we put our name to the recommendation. Priced per engagement, typically a monthly or quarterly cadence.

Want the parts we cannot automate?
The honest question
Why not just do this yourself?
It is the right question and it deserves a real answer rather than a brochure one. Here is where self-managed programmes actually come unstuck.
Dashboards report, they do not interpret
Every platform now ships an AI summary of your performance. None of them will tell you the summary is wrong because your conversion tracking has been double-firing since the theme update. Interpretation means knowing which numbers to distrust.
The people executing cannot mark their own homework
Whoever runs the campaign is the worst-placed person to judge whether the campaign is the right one. That is not a criticism of them; it is structural. Independent review exists for the same reason auditors do.
Most in-house teams are short on time, not talent
The people running your marketing usually know what to do. What they do not have is a day a month to step back, read the whole picture and decide what to stop. That is the gap Advisory fills.
Someone should be accountable for direction, not just delivery
Agencies are accountable for what they were asked to do. Advisory is accountable for whether it was the right thing to ask for.
What's included
What a advisory engagement covers
- Independent review of performance across every channel you run
- Verification that what you are measuring is real before anything is concluded from it
- A written direction each cycle: what to start, stop and continue, with reasoning
- Competitor and AI answer-share monitoring
- Direct access to a strategist between reviews
- Briefing and quality review of whoever executes, agency or in-house
Accountability
What we answer for
We are accountable for the direction, which means we tell you when our previous recommendation was wrong. A review that never revises an earlier call is not a review.
Fit
This suits you if
- You have execution covered but not judgement
- You are spending enough that a wrong direction is expensive
- You want a second opinion on an incumbent agency
It doesn't if
- You need someone to do the work
- You want validation rather than assessment
Answers
Advisory — straight answers
Will you tell us our current agency is fine?
If they are, yes. We have done exactly that and it has cost us the follow-on work. An independent review that always concludes you should switch to the reviewer is not independent.
Do you work alongside our existing agency?
Regularly. It works best when everyone knows the arrangement up front. We brief, review and challenge; they execute. The friction is usually productive.
What does a cycle look like?
We pull the data, verify it is trustworthy, review performance across channels, and deliver a written direction with reasoning. Then a call to argue about it, because the argument is where the value is.
How is it priced?
Per engagement, on scope and cadence rather than hours. Monthly suits businesses in active growth; quarterly suits steadier ones.
Can Advisory turn into Managed?
Sometimes, and we will flag when we think execution is the constraint rather than direction. But we will not use Advisory as a sales process for Managed — if you only ever need Advisory, that is a good outcome for both of us.
